Questions we hear most

How hard is it to change accountants?

Harder to say it than to do it. Clients often feel loyal, or worry their accountant holds all their information hostage. In practice, we handle the transfer — your previous firm is required to hand over your files, and there’s no big recreation effort on your part. What you get in return is often an accountant who’s actually engaged with what you’re trying to do. If you’ve been meaning to switch, the main obstacle is usually making the call.

I don’t live on the Sunshine Coast — does that matter?

Not at all. We use cloud accounting, electronic signing and document storage to make the whole thing seamless. If you like to see the person you’re talking to, we can do video calls. If you’re in a different time zone, we work around it. Distance has stopped being a real barrier to good advice.

Why do I have to sign an engagement letter before getting advice?

Short answer: it’s the law. We follow all professional and ethical standards, which means we can’t provide personal advice until you’ve reviewed and accepted our terms. It’s not bureaucracy for its own sake — it protects you as much as it does us. The letter itself is plain, readable and quick to get through.

Will switching to you save me tax?

We’d love to promise yes — but we don’t know if that’s true, and we’re not in the habit of saying things that aren’t. What we will do is minimise your tax legally and make sure nothing is missed. More importantly, we’re focused on your broader picture: structures, strategy, the decisions that actually build wealth over time. Tax minimisation is part of that, not the whole point.

How much do you charge?

It depends — but you’ll always know upfront. Some services have fixed prices (structures, Xero setup, straightforward returns), and our Menu of Services sets those out clearly. For everything else, we provide a fee estimate before any work starts, based on what you actually need. For clients who prefer predictability, we also offer a yearly fixed fee arrangement spread across equal monthly payments — no lump sums, no surprises.

Do you understand the structures the property developer network teaches?

Absolutely. Tasha has spoken on stage with Brad Cassidy, Dymphna Boholt, I Love Real Estate & AIR BNB  conferences over a number of years. Many of our clients are current or past students, and they value working with a firm that understands the methodology but remains independent of it.

Our Fees

  • Free initial meeting

  • Transparent pricing

  • Fixed fee available

Before we start any work, we’ll send you a fee estimate so you know exactly what to expect. Depending on the service, that might be a set price for the job or an hourly rate — either way, you’ll know upfront.

For clients who’d prefer more certainty, we also offer a yearly fixed fee arrangement that covers all your requirements and spreads into equal monthly payments. No lump sums at the end of the year, no surprises — just a predictable amount that’s easier to plan around.

If you’d like to meet us before committing to anything, we offer a free initial meeting. No obligation — just a conversation to see if we’re the right fit for each other.

Still have questions?

The first meeting is free, obligation-free and genuinely just a conversation.
